Welcome to the Web site for SCIDOM 2005.

Every two years, the Scouts from Billericay and Wickford District have the opportunity to take part in a overseas camp. This year, we have chosen to return to the beautiful Dordogne Valley in Southern France. We will be staying in self-catering tents, which include beds, a fridge, small cooker, electric lights and a guaranteed sunny week (we hope)

Before we travel.

Agenda for the meeting - Wednesday 4th May 2005.

District Plant Sales.

Every year the  Billericay and Wickford District Scouts have two plant sales. This year they will be held in Billericay on Saturday 7th and Saturday 14th May. The money raised from these sales goes towards the cost of the French Camp.

We would like to see all Scouts, Explorers and Leaders who are going to France helping at either of the two Plant Sales. The cost of this year's camp has been kept low because of the efforts of all the Scouts who have helped in previous years Plant Sales.

This year, the plant sale money will cut the cost of the camp by between £30 and £50 per person. In other words, if you do not help at the Plant Sales this year - the cost of the next District Scout Camp will be over £250.
